Do I need a statistics or data science background?

No. You need curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to engage with data. We focus on how to reason with data, not turning you into a statistician.

Will this teach me specific tools (R, Python, Power BI, etc.)?

Tools are discussed when useful, but the Academy is tool-agnostic by design. Tools change. Thinking frameworks don’t.

How technical does this get?

Technical enough to build data analysis skills and how to be evidence-based, with credibility and judgment. It’s not so technical that it becomes academic. The focus is understanding what to do with analysis, not just how to run it.
